Comprehensive Early Childhood Music Program
Parent/Child Music Classes
^Babies (6 mo.-1.5 yrs) ^Toddlers (1.5-3 yrs) ^Kids (3-4yrs)
Music Sprouts is an early childhood music program in which every child's innate musicality is nurtured and developed. In the early years, developmentally appropriate activities are crucial in helping your child develop the skills that he or she will use throughout their lives. Shirley’s teaching philosophy revolves around a community of learners in which every child’s contribution is heard and every child leaves the music class with a larger sense of self than he or she brought into it.
The bond that develops between parent and child through music is invaluable and natural, since young children innately enjoy music and are music-makers. Active and fun approach teaches music through singing, movement, and instrument playing. Your child will begin to learn about musical concepts such as rhythm, pitch, and form. This is also a great way to build the musical framework that will enhance their learning of an instrument. Come join us as we share a life-long journey of music-making and enjoyment.
