Piano Lessons

Shirley Woo Piano Studio offers weekly lessons for one half hour, forty-five minutes, or one hour. Partner or group classes are available on the same basis to students who are appropriately compatible.

Supplementary activities such as composition (children learn to compose their own pieces, as well as keep their own musical composition notebook), singing (pitch matching), musical games (rhythm, form), Dalcroze Eurhythmics activities, theory, improvisation, and sight-reading are included in the lessons.

Opportunities through MTAC Whittier Branch include: Certificate of Merit, Branch Honors, Convention Program performances, Studio Workshops and Recitals, and Community Outreach.

Studio Policy

* Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours ahead, unless it is an emergency.
